My name is Stacy Tyus and I am a senior at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. Over the course of the Fall Semester of 2009, I was required to keep in contact with a mentor for my Interpersonal Skills business course. My mentor was Carol Ridolphi, president of CER Image Consulting, LLC. After this project, I learned a lot about the image consulting field. I also learned valuable interviewing tips, including what should and should not be worn, from a face to face meeting with Carol. The mentor project was informative because it allowed me to see how concepts I learned in class, such as networking, first impressions, and body language, correspond to real life experiences and situations. Since the conclusion of the semester, Carol has followed up with me and reached out to offer additional advice and tips. From this project, I have created a professional contact that I can benefit from in the future.

Carol Ridolphi has taught a well-attended, successful class for The Adult School of the Chathams, Madison and Florham Park for many years. The subject matter includes presenting yourself in a positive way; an extremely relevant topic that is important in the world of business as well as all aspects of life. Certified Image Consultant, Carol Ridolphi was a pleasure to work with during the City of Elizabeth's 15th Annual Women's History Month Program. As a part of the five day series Mrs. Ridolphi did an informative presentation, complete with color handouts, on image in the workplace, building a wardrobe, body solutions, and professional make up options.
